It's another action-packed double-feature, featuring one of the best-selling superhero, heck, comics series in the world today, plus a cyberpunk classic that influenced a whole bunch of '90's comics.
Barrage was actually the first Jump manga that Viz picked up for a simulpub right from the first chapter, back when the digital magazine was in its infancy and known as Shonen Jump Alpha. They would end up picking up more new series that unfortunately kept getting cancelled, so they eventually started the Jump Start program, where they would translate and run the first three of chapters of most new Jump series starting in Japan. That way they could see what audiences latched onto and decided what to run from there, whereas now we just get everything. It is interesting how Viz took a stab at Horikoshi even before he started MHA. Anyway, loved the episode as always!
